Daylight Saving

I love turning the clocks back, there is nothing better than having those extra hours of sunlight after a long day at work. It so good for my mental health… I really notice a big swing in motivation…I don’t feel like the day is over before I even leave the office. Its so refreshing to see more sun, and slightly warmer temperatures combined with a few more hours of sunlight.

This last week with those extra hours have felt great, I have worked out more, relaxed more and felt happy. My new hair extensions may all be part of the smile on my face. I have been thinking about extensions for a long time, my hair is fine, and although I have a lot of it, there isn’t much body.

The before and after is below and the photo really doesn’t do it justice. I will try and take few more photos from the front, that for me is really where it is the most noticeable. Now the test will be the first wash and how long it last, I love it as of right now. These are the Bellami Pro sew in volume weft, the best way to think of these is permanent clip in extensions.

Its Sunday night now, and I am finally relaxing looking forward to another week. Work has finally started to settle down and I had my 2019 goal setting meeting and it went very well. I am starting to feel comfortable and really enjoying the day to day, it is busy but with one of my accountants returning from maternity leave, its going to continue to get better.

This week I am keeping it simple, I made juice for two days and tikka masala with air fried chicken thighs and riced cauliflower. The last few weeks, I have been spotty with bringing lunch and definitely notice the impact on my ability to focus. I also hope to work out at least 3 nights this week since we will be away skiing next weekend. And yes, skiing may be considered physical activity but that activity also includes lots of food and drink.

We are starting to talking about vacations which gets me thinking about bikinis, so that also helps get the motivation going again. Combined with my sad showing in February of only 6 days of workouts. I have beat that already in March and will continue to get in the groove and see results. Speaking of March, where does time go! … of jeez, talk about coming full circle… I’m just going to leave it at that.
