Meal Plan August 20-24
Well this week is off to a different start than I had planned. Sunday, I didn’t move much from the couch once I settled there around 11am. It was a day of rest and recovering after a little too much rosé at my sisters wedding Saturday. Its now Wednesday and I still haven’t go my meals for the week up.
I am doubling down on the weirdness this week as I am giving notice at my current job as well as working from home for a few days. It wasn’t an easy decision to switch jobs, and I really had high expectations for this position but can see that very little is going to change. I have found a great opportunity back within the construction industry and closer to home.
Anywho, so this week the schedule and meal planning is a little off, but this week will be a perfect example of how it doesn’t take much time or effort, to eat healthy and cook at home.
Monday – No food “prep” done. I grabbed an english muffin and egg whites on the way out the door to heat up and eat at the office. I also grabbed from the freezer, a Three Cheese Chicken Crust Pizza by Real Good Foods. These are my new favorite and I always keep some on hand for days like today.
Dinner tonight will be BLT Breakfast sandwiches. We will cook some thick cut bacon on the Traeger Grill, which gives it a great smokey flavor and renders most of the fat out. You are left with perfectly crisp, strong flavor bacon, top that with some lettuce, tomato and an egg and it’s a sure fire way to any mans heart, well probably any heart for that matter.
- 1 C Califia Almond Milk
- 1 Scoop Bowmar Hot Chocolate Protein
- 1/2 banana
- 1 blender ball
- Frozen blender mix

Tuesday – Green Chile Rice + Chicken Bowls (with my new favorite TJ’s find)
Wednesday – SweetGreen
Thursday – Steak Tips, French Fries + Salad Friday – the husband has requested seafood, thinking cioppino to get a little bit of everything; mussels, shrimp, fish. Keep you posted on that recipe as well!
